Introducing the Professional Woman of Impact Award

We are excited to introduce the Professional Woman of Impact Award, a new annual award from the Rockford Network of Professional Women designed to recognize and celebrate women who are making a meaningful difference in the Stateline Area.

This award is about more than professional accomplishments. It’s about women who give back to their communities, support and empower other women, lead through service, and inspire positive change.

Who is eligible?

Any woman aged 23 or older who lives and/or works in the Stateline Area may be nominated. RNPW membership is not required.

What will we look for?

Nominees will be evaluated on four key areas:
•    Community Impact
•    Advancement and Support of Women
•    Leadership and Influence
•    Professional/Personal Initiative and Character

What happens next?

Nominations are open now and will close January 15, 2027. An RNPW selection committee will review nominations and select the recipient, who will be recognized at our Professional Development Day in April 2027. 

We encourage every member to start thinking about the women in your lives, workplaces, and communities who deserve recognition. She may be a mentor, a volunteer, a community advocate, or simply someone who consistently makes life better for others.
Together, we can shine a light on the women who uplift others, strengthen our communities, and empower women to thrive.
