Strength in Connection: A Message from the President
Dear Members,
I hope you were able to join us at our January meeting where Amy Nord, Executive Director of the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce, led our group in a speed networking activity.
As I was reflecting on the energy of that meeting, our theme for the year, “Rooted in Strength, Rising Together, felt especially alive. In just a few short conversations, we shared stories, exchanged insights, sparked new ideas, and strengthened relationships. Those moments—brief yet meaningful—are where our collective strength truly shows. Each introduction, each word of
encouragement, and each shared challenge reinforces the roots that keep us steady and the support that helps us rise.
Our strength is not only in what we accomplish individually, but in how we show up for one another. When we connect intentionally, listen generously, and collaborate boldly, we create space for growth—for ourselves and for the women beside us.
Thank you for the energy, openness, and professionalism you bring to this group. I am continually inspired by the talent, ambition, and heart within this community. I look forward to seeing how we continue to rise together in the weeks ahead.
